My name is Megan Ternes, but you may know me better as Blondie REALTOR®. In January 2017, my husband Jacob and I bought our first home together in North Central on an irrigated lot with mature trees. Jacob being from Wisconsin and myself as an Arizona native, Jacob missed the green and I craved it, but I knew just the place that we could find it - North Central. The house wasn’t anything special at the time, but we could see the potential in the lot’s mature shrubbery. When we bought our home - it had original cast iron plumbing, single pane windows, a 31-year-old AC unit, and 10 different floors - the house itself, both inside AND out, was a burnt orange color that made one feel like you were inside of a chiminea. It was only one day after we closed that we started the crafting of making the house our home, and this Spring we plan to sell it, but we aren't moving far - we bought a home just one street over from our current house - still has irrigation, but gives us another project to tackle - just how we like it.
This Fall, my Husband Jacob Barkstrom joined me publicly in Real Estate, this is our first outing on the team front, he has been my Right Hand Real Estate partner, but behind the scenes. Jacob and I met back in 2013 while Jacob was on active duty in the Marine Corps; this month we celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. Since having my partner join me publicly, we decided to make a soft rebrand, to take a more serious approach in the marketing of our listings and of ourselves, so we introduce to you our new brand, BLONDIE & BARKSTROM Real Estate with HomeSmart’s - Elite Group.
